CAP are conservation specialists with an impressive record of matching clients' needs with sensitivity to the historic environment, high quality design, skilled execution and cooperation.

Resourcing, integrating and tracking projects from inception to completion is our proven path to success. We work with planning authorities and other decision makers from extensive experience of their culture, policy and practice. We are a warm, careful, team to whom being lead consultants is a familiar role.

Projects range in value from around £80,000 to over £5m. We excel in building and area conservation, urban design, new buildings in historic settings and expert witness services. Commissions include the government's historic estate and areas of world heritage value. We take the long view, reflect shared regard for heritage as public and private assets and believe without the past there is no present, without the present no future.

We are registered with or members of relevant industry bodies, including RIBA, RTPI, IHBC, and the Urban Design Group.
