Hackwood House is a Grade II* palatial mansion, set within a Grade I park, with a core of about 1680, which underwent many changes, including enlargement and re-cladding by Lewis Wyatt in 1810. CAP provided historical research, an appraisal, design advice and prepared a Conservation Plan in connection with a multi-million pound project of refurbishment and internal alteration, as the English residence of a foreign Minister.
